Added Some Sketches

I added a few of my pre-vis sketches if anyone would like to check them out, here. These were all done for 3D animations, I like to work out a few poses and ideas on paper before diving into any animation. I have this little issue (and I know many others who do), that when presented with a blank slate my mind goes absolutely haywire with the possibilities. This process helps to keep me focused :)



I know it looks like a mess, but there is a method to my creative madness! These sketches were for Gotham City Impostors, a heavy character who actually went on a diet before the game came to completion. I was very excited to play up on the beer gut he had originally.

The Surprise

We had a bit of a snowstorm here in Seattle recently. I spent much of my time in, and had an idea for an animated short. It's not completely flushed out yet, but I did some rough sketches of the main character. Extreamely simple design, but it was intentional for this little guy.

Adam and Dog Trailer

I'm so glad to be seeing so many traditional 2D films coming out in recent years. Titles such as The Illusionist, The Secret of the Kells, and upcoming The Secret World of Arrietty (February 2012- US) based on "The Borrowers" .

And FINALLY. . .

I managed to get this site/blog up and running. I will probably be flooding it in the near future with most of the stuff I've ever done, hopefully that will go as smoothly as possible. Thank you for visiting my little bit o' net space, and I hope you like what you see!
